Difficult project. Albuquerque New Mexico Flat roof

Difficult Projects In Albuquerque Flat roos are everywhere and we love to make them last as long as possible. This project involved meticulous steps and careful attention, as the existing roofing presented unique challenges. The initial foam application over the tar bed was not done correctly, leading to water penetration through the foam and into the house. After numerous attempts at maintenance, it became clear that a complete replacement was necessary. Given the extensive damage to the decking, about 14 sheets had to be replaced, and certain joists needed framing due to water-related decay. Once the old roof was removed and the decking replaced, the reconstruction process began. Foam at varying depths was applied to ensure proper slope and drainage, ranging from approximately 6 inches in depth to about an inch at drainage points. The final step included the application of Gaco silicone S4200 at a rate of around 2.5 gallons per square. This white silicone coating serves to refle...
